Homespun at the Andros the newest addition to the Homespun family.
Set against the backdrop of Table Mountain, the 5 star graded Andros Deluxe Boutique Hotel is a truly gracious Cape Colonial homestead.
The Homespun journey started in Blouberg. The restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt came back to his home town to open his dream restaurant: Homespun by Matt Blouberg.
Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. We offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, South African and worldly flavours.
After 6 fantastic years of growing and thriving with passion, Matt decided to take his journey to the next step and open a second restaurant in the Southern Suburbs.
Homespun at the Andros is therefore the result of an ever-growing journey in the culinary scene. Pushing the boundaries of imagination and taking you through an incredible adventure of flavours while seating in a comfortable, relaxed environment and surrounded by the pristine grounds of the Andros Boutique Hotel.

The 5 star graded Andros Deluxe Boutique Hotel, a gracious Cape Colonial homestead originally built in 1908 and designed by Sir Herbert Baker is ideally located in Claremont, one of Cape Towns’ beautiful Southern Suburbs. OUR SEATING AREAS
Please note that our restaurant has an inside area as well as a beautiful terrace.
Due to weather unpredictability, we don’t take bookings for the terrace. Should the weather allow it, we will gladly move you to an outside table on the day if we have availability.
DEPOSIT POLICY
We require a deposit of R400 per guest in order to secure your reservation for which you will be sent a Dineplan payment link.
Non-payment of the deposit within 24 hours will result in an auto-cancellation of your provisional booking on our booking system.

Would you like to cancel your booking?
Let us know 24 hours prior your reservation and you will receive a 100% refund of your deposit. Should you let us know less than 24 hours prior your reservation, you will unfortunately forfeit your deposit.
If the party is smaller than originally booked for the R400 per cancelled or absent guest will be forfeited.

ARRIVAL TIME
Please note that we only accommodate 12 guests per time slot in order to ensure that you receive the best experience with us. Our restaurant opens at 17:30 and we take the last order at 20:45. As per the Andros Boutique Hotel Policy, all guests must be out of the premises by 23:00.

Should you arrive late for your reservation, please understand that you will then fall into a different time slot that might already be fully booked and it might affect your experience with us.
​
Should you arrive late for your reservation without informing us, we will keep your table for 1 hour considering you have paid a deposit to secure your table. If no deposit was paid to secure your table we will start calling our waiting list after a 20 minute delay.

ALLERGIES & DIETARIES
We have a full plant-based menu available for both plant-based and vegetarian diners.
Our dishes can be modified to be Halaal friendly but our kitchen is not strictly Halaal.
Despite our best efforts to accommodate any allergies and dietary requirements, some of our dishes may contain traces of allergens including, but not limited to: alcohol, shellfish, soy, nuts, eggs, dairy and wheat.
We will do our best to accommodate your dietary requirements, however, please understand that some dishes can not be altered due to certain food restrictions.

In order for us to provide our guests with the best possible experience all dietary requirements needs to be communicated with us beforehand.

CORKAGE POLICY
Unfortunately, we do not allow our guests to bring their own wines.
We put a lot of effort into our wine list with a variety of interesting vintages and terroir. Our team is fully equipped to recommend the perfect wine for your palate as well as for your budget.

CHILDREN
As per Andros Hotel policy we allow children from the age of 12 and up, provided that they order the full menu.
TIPS
A discretionary service charge of 12% will be automatically added to the bill for impeccable service.

PARKING
Please enter the premises via the main entrance on Phyllis Road by ringing the bell. If the parking is full, you will be redirected to the back gate where there is additional parking space. If both parking lots are full, there is overflow parking along the building on Paradise View Road.
